8:30am - 12:30pm, Boise's Black Cliffs, $155 per person, No Experience Needed. Curious about rock climbing but not sure where to start? Join us for our Intro to Rock Climbing course, a fun, supportive 4-hour clinic designed specifically for first-timers. Led by professional, AMGA-trained guides, this beginner-friendly course introduces you to the exciting world of outdoor climbing in a safe, hands-on environment. No prior experience required, just bring your sense of adventure! What You'll Learn: • Climbing gear overview & how to use it • Essential knots, belaying, and partner communication • Climbing movement basics on real rock • How to trust your belay partner and build confidence • Tips for climbing technique & safety We'll start on easy terrain and focus on getting you up the rock (and back down safely!) a few times so you can get a feel for the sport. Along the way, you'll gain practical skills, build trust, and most importantly — have fun! Whether you're looking for a new hobby, a unique group activity, or just want to try something adventurous, this is the perfect first step into the world of climbing.
